We spoke to the owner of the company, he was an older gentlemen and seemed honest and sincere. The man he had in charge allegedly, seemed as if he had been painting for a week his whole life.
They had different employees showing up on some days and when they left my husband and I would look at the work done and we were astonished this company was even in business. We didn't know what to do. We were under a contract a decided that, what's the worst that can happen. Well the work continued to be very subpar.
Of course being at our home all day if one of the men had to use the restroom I let them use ours whenever they needed. Then our iPad and some loose cash came up missing. When they were the only ones on our property. They tried saying someone who had walked by picked our house and walked in and took it.
We called the police but since they had our permission to enter the home and no one was holding it in their hands, nothing happened, so we give them the benifit of the doubt even though I know his alleged "supervisor" took it. He was so quick to jump on the person walking by and chose our house out of the entire street with house to house development. We just wanted our house to be done being painted so they could leave our lives once an for all. Then another new face appeared one morning and other than a few drips the things started running smoother.
Until one day I notice after the "supervisor" and another older man were there starting late in the day that while painting the trim that runs the length of our chimney he had gotten almost as much paint on the chimney as he had the trim boards. So before we paid we wanted the chimney fixed, which scared us because it wasn't everyday brick, small river pebbles were mixed with the materiel they used to manufacture them and we didn't want a big noticeable streak up the chimney where he tried to scrape it off, which we wound up with anyway. But, at least they were done. They left behind paint all over our roof though which I was told by a roofing company that they would have to be replaced.
Long story short, do not hire Joe Doro's pro painters.I don't know how many pros he has except for the new guy and another older man who did a lot of one side that company is a joke.
